It is commonplace for authors to write within a genre. I have a low threshold for boredom, and so a short attention span and meandering focus do not permit me to do that, therefore I don't.
Fortunately for me, I have enough interest, in enough subjects, to still find new things to say and new ways to say them. To complicate matters further, my playful inner child sometimes makes me a little disrespectful of the conventions of the English language. All apparent "mistakes" are deliberate.
At this time, midway through the editing process of project number four, I have managed to publish three completely different books. The fourth will continue along the same lines, and the plan is to never betray that principle. It is my view that in the same way that poetry, art, or music can disobey any rules and conventions, all writing can be experimental, creative, and individualistic - without exception. When I indulge in such a way I don't care who likes, loves, or hates it, because they are equally free to express themselves however they wish.
